Objectives

  1. To honor His Majesty Phrabat Somdet Phra Boromchanakadhipeshra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej Maharaj Borommanat Pobitra on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 70th accession to the throne on 9 June 2016, in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's birthday on the auspicious occasion of her 7th cycle (every 12 years) birthday anniversary on 12 August 2016, and on the auspicious occasion of her coronation.
  2. To make use of valuable wood under the supervision of the government to build a museum displaying knowledge about precious wood of Thailand, which will cause love and cherish the precious forest resources, create a collective consciousness in the protection, caring, and restoration of the national forest resources, as well as being a learning center for Thai people and foreign tourists who come to visit. It can also serve as a place to welcome royal family members or government guests.
